Rainbow-colored handblown glass art vase

Bring some sparkle to your life! This vase was created using upcycled waste from another project. It was blown into a piece of complex cane containing multiple colors and dichroic glass. The dichroic glass creates a glittering raindow down one side of the vase. A day of studio time goes into fabricating the complex cane and then part of another day is taken to pick the cane remnant up on a blowpipe and make the vase. This vase is one of a kind and was blown by the artist (David L Smith) with a unique shape and pattern. Because this is hand-blown, there are small bubbles and tool marks present in the piece that are artifacts of the process. This vase is a piece of art and is signed and dated by the artist. And it it a practical object as well, suitable for use every day. Hand washing recommended. Handblown glass art makes a unique and compelling addition to any home!
