White "twisty" cane and real silver foil decorate this handblown cobalt blue bowl. The silver foil reflects heat and keeps areas of the glass thicker during the blowing process, resulting in a natural and unpredicatable asymmetry as the bowl was spun out to its final shape, reminiscent of an oyster shell. The bowl also features a hot-applied and cold-worked clear glass foot.
